LE VIN DE DEUX
Le Vin de Deux produces exceptional Chablis wines that are beautiful and pure, coming from the best soil type in Chablis, the Kimmeridgian, which is rich in limestone and fossils and comparable to Champagne. Le Vin de Deux is the most minor estate in Chablis, comprising only one hectare and producing two wines. Valérie inherited the plots at Fleys, including the premier cru location Mont de Milieu, from her mother, and her family has been making wine there for over a century. During the initial years of conversion, the grapes still went to the cooperative, and in 2014, they produced their first Chablis. From the beginning, Valérie and Bill have cultivated their vineyards biodynamically. The wines mature in Valérie's semi-underground cellar in large wooden barrels for two years.

Valérie is a renowned and passionate artist. She creates unique labels reflecting that year's vintage and experiences every year. On the other hand, Bill is known for delighting theatres with beautiful decorations.
ALICE AND OLIVIER DE MOOR
However, the vineyard's journey was challenging when Bill fell seriously ill. In this difficult time, their friends Alice and Olivier de Moor, renowned winemakers, stepped in to offer their support. With their help, Bill made a steady recovery, and they decided to entrust the vineyard's care to Alice and Olivier de Moor. Their expertise and dedication to producing pure wines have further enhanced the vineyard's reputation.

Our Chablis wines testify to our dedication and passion, each bottle exuding nobility and elegance. Their clean, focused character and terroir-driven expressions of salty Chardonnay truly reflect our unique terroir.
